NRA PISTOL PERMIT CLASSES

We offer the NRA Basic Pistol class which is required by the State of CT to obtain a pistol permit. We have both the classroom and live fire portions on premises in Norwalk CT, no need to travel from a class to a range, it is all right here. Everything in the pistol permit class is included in one fee, there are no additional charges.

Due to unprecedented demand, all NRA Basic pistol courses are non-refundable and non-cancellable.

The process for obtaining your CT pistol permit is:

1: Complete the NRA Basic Pistol permit class

2: Complete the application for a pistol permit (this application is available at your local Police department)

3: Call your local Police department to schedule fingerprinting and drop off your application.

You MUST complete the application process and receive approval to use our facility. There are no exceptions. Anyone found violating this policy will be permanently removed and shooting privileges revoked. 

ATTENTION NY RESIDENTS:

DUE TO CHANGES IN NEW YORK STATE LAW, THIS COURSE NO LONGER MEETS NYS REQUIREMENTS. NY RESIDENTS MUST SEEK OUT A COURSE FROM AN AUTHORIZED NYS INSTRUCTOR.
